Technical details
SYNOX GEAR GL-4 80W-90 is a high-performance gear oil formulated from selected base oils combined with a specially balanced additive system.
The contained EP (Extreme Pressure) additives form a load-carrying lubricating film on gear tooth surfaces during meshing, significantly reducing wear under high mechanical stress. The product also provides excellent ageing resistance under high thermal loads.
Its good low-temperature flow properties are based on the high refinement level of the base oils and the use of effective pour point depressants. In addition, special additives suppress foaming and protect wetted components against corrosion. SYNOX GEAR GL-4 80W-90 is compatible with common sealing materials.

SYNOX GEAR GL-4 80W-90 is suitable for use in manual transmissions, steering gearboxes and axle drives in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, excluding hypoid gear sets. Application recommendations: MB 235.1, MAN 341 Type Z2, MAN 341 Type E1, Ford SQM-2C-9008 A and ZF TE-ML 02B and 17A. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
